Whoop Whoop!
As quickly as it all begun we have found ourselves at the end of another bat season. After some well-earned rest over the past few weeks, we are slowly transforming back to our normal states from the night creature we had become and making the most out of the free evenings:
Mingaile (who is extremely happy with now not having to spell both her names over the phone after recently getting married) is using this extra time to move to her first home!!
Heather continues to injure herself as she madly runs up mountains preparing for the next race (it exhausts me to even think about walking up Ben Nevis, never mind hurtling myself up it!!).
Laura has settled into her role as the new director and is often out running with Poppy and the new addition to her growing doggy family, Hendricks. Their adventures are always the talk in the office with regular photo updates.
Spence, well she is using the extra time to rekindle the love with the much missed Fajita Wednesdays, which had to be put on the back burner during the season.
Neil, who is no longer with us, has married and is occasionally seen wondering around with a bat detector during the night, as he settles into his new place in the world.
I am madly trying to trying to cram as many Japanese phrases onto the spaces on my arms without tattoo’s, whilst organising my three week trip to Japan, which I leave for soon!
As we realise how much has changed in our lives over just one season, everyone at Echoes hopes you had an eventful bat season too! Only 199 nights of sleep until it all begins again!
