We have reached the end of another busy bat season! While most of us are recharging and transforming back to our normal(ish) selves, there’s no rest for our newbie ecologists Russell and Rosanna.
Both recently completed their NPTC level 2 tree climbing and aerial rescue certification, passing the test with flying colours. After only two days they were out in search for bats with our other new ecologist, Heather – a licensed bat worker and a tree climber – and climbing some massive trees on a site in Stirling.
SPOILER ALERT: no bats were found. But on the other hand, two roosting Barn Owls were seen!
