Ecological Clerk of Works

Echoes Ecology provides Ecological Clerk of Work (ECoW) services, and we have extensive experience over a wide variety of sites. The ECoW services typically include:

• Monitoring and management of habitats and/or protected species on site
• Monitoring silt management
• Presenting toolbox talks to contractors to make them aware of their responsibilities
• Proactively identifying and resolving ecological issues on site
• Production of daily and/or monthly reports for submission to the Local Authority or regulatory body

The services of an ECoW are often required for the discharge of planning conditions and to ensure all relevant wildlife legislation is adhered to during the construction phase of a project.
