Bat Licence Training Programmes for Professionals

Each year Echoes Ecology train people towards getting their SNH Bat Licence. We have a structured programme in order to achieve this successfully with appropriate trainees. If your organisation wishes to nominate a trainee Contact Us for more details.

For those wishing a structured training programme towards obtaining a bat licence within England or Wales we would recommend the course delivered by Bat Training (Dr Sandie Sowler and Richard Crompton).

Our Bat Handling Training Courses are designed so that trainees undergoing training with ourselves, Bat Training or independently can receive extra tuition as part of their development or prior to being assessed by a trainer.

Bird Related Training Programmes for Professionals

Echoes Ecology can develop and deliver the following advanced training courses relating to UK bird species.

Advanced Bird ID: The difficult species, warblers, waders, gulls and raptors. Covering bird calls, age, condition, sex and race to an advanced level.

Schedule One Birds: Catering for species such as Barn Owl, Hobby, Black Redstart, Dotterel, Kingfisher, Hen Harrier and Osprey. Covering identification, habitat requirements, mitigation and appropriate method statements for development.
